How it works
The Turning Point Programme supports young people from underrepresented and disadvantaged backgrounds. There are four key development areas of our programme.
Our mentees meet 1-2 hours a month over a 6-9 month period with their mentor, where they are supported with both their personal and professional development.
Mentors help mentees to build their career knowledge in their field of interest through our one-to-one tailored support.
Through our structured mentoring sessions, mentees are able to build key employability skills such as effective communication, time-management and problem-solving.
Each mentee will have the opportunity to join Bridging Barriers wider network of mentors and be able to connect with other mentees through our industry specific WhatsApp group chats. As well as this, through our events every quarter, our participants are able to network and build meaningful relationships with others.
