About Our Volunteer Programme

Bridging Barriers operates a structured volunteer programme designed to provide meaningful experience, professional development, and the opportunity to contribute directly to our mission.

What Does The Volunteer Programme Involve?

  • Duration: 12 months
  • Flexible Time Commitment: Designed to fit around studies, work and personal commitments
  • Start Dates: July
  • Location: Remote/hybrid, with opportunities to attend in-person events in London (optional)
  • Mentorship: You’ll be paired with an experienced mentor in your field, who will support your development, coach you through feedback, and provide career guidance
  • Training & Community: Access tailored onboarding, skills training, and join a vibrant cohort of fellow volunteers building real-world experience
  • Real Responsibility: Make an impact from the start and take ownership of your work from day one
